Marketing 8: Studio Tour
Posted | 8 comments
I finally recorded my studio tour!
Its nothing AMAZING but it works well for me!
Its tighter than I would like but its what I could afford.
I did want a clean high end custom home feel to it. Therefore, I hired a custom home builder to help with the remodel. I also hired a lady who is awesome with interior decorating to help with color choices.
This video could have easily served a marketing or a sales video. Its designed to help with both!
When people walk into my studio, I want them to think “this is really nice” and “I might end up spending a lot of money here.”.
This is a huge video so I hope it loads fine!

Rudy from Rudy's Portraits said "It's amazing every time I send it out via e-mail to about 600 clients, I get 2 - 3 bookings, it's a great reminder for our existing clients. I also receive a lot of feed back on the articles!"
I have made this resource 'basically free' for professional photographers who need to boost their referral and repeat business. There are members from the USA, Canada, New Zealand, & Australia.
I personally pay several hundred dollars a month to have this content created. It is my gift back to the photography community.

What Two Members Said…
"George, I just wanted to let you know I subscribed to your photography training site a little less than a week ago, (I'm almost half-way through your previous videos) and after watching them, I had the girl I hired watch them.
After watching the very first sales video (1 VIDEO!) She increased her first sale by $400 by selling a large wall portrait! Thanks so much for this site and it has already paid for itself many times over.
Dena Howard"
"George, Your photography training site has helped me to get my first $1800 sale from a family session.
I used to do the online gallery and with your help, I changed my pricing, added albums, make suggestions for wall collections and go to the clients house for the preview session.
Kim Ortiz "

A very impressive studio. Looks like you have it all together. Do you think you can show a photo of your homemade background supports?
The video does take a while to load. It stops and starts a lot. The way around that is to pause it and let it fully load before watching it. I learned this a long time ago about watching anything on the internet. Just a hint for others.
@Robert Hamm:
Robert, I actually recorded the steps to building the system. I will post it on this site soon. ok?
George
@Robert Hamm:
The video is a HUGE file. I FIOS and it loads quickly with no issues but if you have a slower connection, I am pretty sure there will be a few issues. Maybe I should have chopped it into smaller parts.
Thanks for the compliment.
George
That is great George and just in time. I am signing a lease on a studio space this week and was looking for ideas on how to set up and decorate my studio. I can’t wait to see the video on the backdrop system.
wow George i was amazed at the beautiful portraits on the wall, kept rewinding it to look again. did lavone paint that senior on the truck? she is one of my best friends.
@Michelle Prince:
Yes she did.. I LOVE it…
you have good taste George!
Looks good George only 115,000 for that, it would cost twice that here! I need about 1600 square feet since I print and finish in house. Still looking for a space to buy.
