Photography Tips: Your own worst enemy
I just did a photography coaching via email with a gentleman who has been a photographer for over 30 years.
He admits that basically he is his own worst enemy.
He KNOWS he should be charging more & providing a better experience for his clients.
Folks, if you KNOW you are suppose to be doing something (sending thank you cards, projecting, sending newsletters, paying attention to details, …) but you aren’t doing it WELL THEN, you are getting the exact same results as somsone who doesn’t know this information.
Why handicap yourself? Why leave thousands of dollars on the table?
Also, every time you NOT doing something right (like doing online proofing when you know you should be doing in studio consultations) you are training your clients – THIS IS HOW I DO BUSINESS. To change will require RETRAINING your clients! The longer you do something more habit forming it becomes for YOU and YOUR client.
STOP IT RIGHT NOW.
January 1st gives you are GREAT opportunity to say to your clients, “I have some wonderful announcements that will make doing business with XYZ Photography better than ever!”
