Texas School: The Waldens Day 4

OK, final lecture day. It was great.

AND, it was weird. It was almost as if they had a copy of my slides from my workshop and used them OR I had a copy their slides I used them in my workshop. We are SO totally on the same page. It was very reassuring to know.. I AM on the right path.

Today was also the day I got “the gem”. The one thing that I can implement immediately into my business that will have an emotional impact on my clients which in turn helps create loyal clients and helps generate referrals from that client.

I am grateful for the amazingness of the Waldens.

I am SURE I will find myself saying,,,, “What would Tim do in this situation?” “How would Bev handle this?” and following exactly what I think they would do!

When I enter a shoot, I always ask myself, “What would Jerry (Ghionis) do?” and I try to do that! With business, it will be Bev & Tim Walden. My “guiding angels” if you will.

RANT:

You know it was weird, classes with OCF class were full to brim with students but several of those very students were seeking me out during breaks to pick my brain on sales & marketing – they were in the WRONG class in MY opinion! OCF can be figured out in an afternoon but building a thriving business with nice 4 figure sales requires more! I think it signals a weakness in most photographers. They’ll spend time and money on learning to be more flashy in their photography but then they squeeze in my sales & marketing training. WRONG approach!!!!
