What happens if you pour too much water on soil too quickly? It puddles instead of soaks in!
Same thing happens with your clients (anyone really) if you talk TOO MUCH. They can’t absorb the information. The KEY is silence. Let the listener SOAK IN what you just told them. Pause and wait patiently. If you don’t, you will overwhelm them, they will tune you out, and clam up. Not a position you want them in.
So, SILENCE is OK. It gives the client TIME to THINK and ABSORB.
Now, some silence please.
