Photography Tip: Prepare for Success

The great coach Paul “Bear” Bryant was famous for saying “It’s not the will to win but the will to prepare to win that counts”.

In our business, what requires preparing? What requires planning?

Obvious examples:

Do you prepare for EVERY sales session?

Do you want in with a detailed sales plan?

Do you have a plan of what to do BEFORE the client arrives at your studio?

Do you have a plan for what you will be shooting?

Do you have a follow up plan (staying in touch with clients AFTER their session)?

….

The more critical the event, the more critical the preparation.
