Photography Tip: Are You A Custom Photographer?

If you consider yourself a custom photographer, are you presenting custom wall collections? If you do NOT show your client a wall collection with three to four different images, how do you expect to sell a wall collection of 3-4 images? The client isn’t going to suggest, “Hey George, what if we put this one and this one and this one together like this? Wouldn’t that be cool?”. The client is NOT going to say that. We have to PRESENT the idea. Here is me talking to the client, “Kathy, how do you like that concept?”, “Great, do you like it as I designed it or would you like to substitute an image for a different one? We can do it as long as ‘it works’.” “Great, is that how you want it?”

Any suggestions as to how to accomplish this if you do not have a studio?

    Lori, thanks for joining today!

I only know how to answer your question one way…. what does a custom photographer have to do owning a studio? How does making artist suggestions have anything to do with whether a photographer owns a studio location or not?
