Photography Sales Training

I had a $7000 senior order this week. It was an amazing emotional experience for all involved. The senior told me towards the end of the shoot, “Thanks so much. I want you to know that I don’t have a high level of self esteem but some of the pictures you showed me in the back of your camera are breathtaking.”

She had tears rolling down her cheeks after the slideshow during her ordering session. It was so touching and moving.

Even on this $6300 order, I had a 24% COS. I calculate this on nearly every deal – just like I teach you to do!

It is one of my goals this year to teach how to sell in such a way, that your clients can buy whatever they want and as much as they want. I think most sales systems in studios CAP the sales average because we allow our limited thinking to get in the way. There are folks who have a LOT more money than you do and will spend more than you ever would. Stop presenting your products as if you had to help them come in under some imaginary budget. I show exactly what I would do with the images assuming there wasn’t a budget. Allow yourself to think like that. That is part of the reason they hired you, they want your artistic opinion!

Show them an amazing way to display the beautiful portraits you created.
