Have You Increased Your Price?
Have you increased the price of at least TWO items on your price list this year? Do it, even if its only $10. Get the habit of doing this. Once you start doing it AND realize clients don't balk at the new price, it gets easier to raise your price. Its HARDER for you, as the photographer, to raise your price than it is for your client to pay it.
Custom Photographer = Custom Collections?
If you consider yourself a custom photographer, are you presenting custom wall collections? If you do NOT show your client a wall collection with three to four different images, how do you expect to sell a wall collection of 3-4 images? The client isn't going to suggest, "Hey George, what if we put this one and this one and this one together like this? Wouldn't that be cool?". The client is NOT going to say that. We have to PRESENT the idea. Here is me talking to the client, "Kathy, how do you like that concept?", "Great, do you like it as I designed it or would you like to substitute an image for a different one? We can do it as long as 'it works'." "Great, is that how you want it?"
